The answers to some of your questions
How long does a session take?
Typically newborn sessions are 2-3 hours. Maternity sessions 1-2 hours. Cake smash sessions 1-2 hours. Portraits/ Head shots 30 minutes. Minis 30-45 mins. Family sessions 1 hour.
Do I have to bring my own props?
No, I have a huge range of newborn props, coloured layers, wraps, headbands, outfits, bonnets, and loveys, however you are most welcome to bring something to incorporate into the session.
I have a small maternity closest also available.
What if I need to change my date?
I understand things change! When you select your date and pay your deposit your session is guaranteed. When your little one arrives please contact via email or phone to confirm a date that suits.
When is the best time to take newborn photos?
The best time to photograph your new arrival is between 3-15 days. I do newborn packages up to 6-8 weeks however the poses are often modified. As long as your baby is feeding well and takes a big feed (milk drunk) before we start the session we can get beautiful images.
Do you come to my home?
My studio is located in Hamilton South. If you are unable to come to the studio I can come to you for an additional $150.
Can I send you inspiration images?
Yes of course! I have been working for a newborn company in San Deigo for a few years. One thing I have learnt is that sending inspo photos is a great way to learn your style and to get a great idea of the colours you really like!
Can I make payments for my session?
Yes, I offer a Paypal option or you can make payments via several means (please just email me to set that up).
I require a $50 nonrefundable deposit to secure your booking. Full payment is required by your session date.
Can you come to the hospital for fresh 48 photos?
Yes, I worked in the hospitals in San Diego for many years, I am also accredited for Fresh 48 images through APNPI. Please contact me for pricing.
